The Rotten Deals Checklist – Avoid These Black Friday Deals and Save a Fortune

Avoid These Black Friday Deals

We’ve all been there, seeing what seems like a great black Friday deal only to realize afterwards that it really wasn’t worth it. While everyone knows that black Friday is the perfect time to get your hands on things like electronics and home appliances, there is also a deal for pretty much every item under the sky which is what makes figuring out which items you should skip on that much more complicated. To help you out, in this article we have put together a list of those items.

Winter clothing

If you really need some new winter clothing, then you can definitely always find some great deals in stores like Macy’s and JCPenny with offers like female boots for just $19.99 a pair and more similar deals on sweaters and jackets. However, winter clothing generally isn’t the best value that it can be on black Friday, since most retailers offer things like jackets and coats at their lowest price when winter ends and spring comes. If you are looking for good deals on jeans, instead of black Friday sales, look for them in October.

Bedding

There is no point for you to even look for any types of bedding or linens on black Friday, since it is widely known that the best deals you can hope to get on these types of items are found in January, during what is known as the “white sales” so our advice would definitely be to hold off until then if you can manage to do so. This January go to Macy’s, Kohl’s, Overstock and Kmart and look for deals that can range anywhere from 50% all the way up to 75% off on linens and bedding.

Christmas décor

Deals on fake trees, rolls of wrapping paper, ornaments and decorations are everywhere during black Friday, however, buying them in that time is not the best option that you have. Instead of wasting your time looking for Christmas decorations on black Friday, focus on all of the great deals on electronics and wait to get ornaments and decorations closer to Christmas day. Over the years, we have noticed that retailers are particularly eager to get their prices down as much as possible during the days leading up to Christmas and that makes it the best time for you to out and get some new décor for your home.

As you can see, these are things that most people are often tempted to purchase during days like black Friday that they don’t even stop to think that there may be a time when they can get better deals on them. We hope that this article will help you narrow down what you should skip on and instead focus your shopping on other items.
